Xaxaba is a private island located in the heart of the Okavango Delta overlooking the famous Chief’s Island. The island is between Eagle Island and Chief’s Island, making it a pristine and untouched area with abundant wildlife. It is a very good area for walking, bringing you closer to nature and offering the best of both land and water activities. Old Vumbura Walking Trail starts on the top Western corner of NG12 and runs through private concession known as NG23A which boarders the Duba and Vumbura Concession. The Trail continues all the way to the middle North East of NG12. The environment is very similar to that found at Vumbura. It is a Very productive area, the game in the region is varied and at times with excellent sightings of big cats and large herbivores.
